Character Meter

Again the issue of moral core beliefs and grounding is in the news. A couple of interesting stories in the media.

First the story of how you must be careful when answering that knock at the door. It seems that the Democratic Machine of John Kerry is now using convicted felons, murders, sexual predators, and convicted burglar's to go door to door to defeat the president.

And then there is the voter registration drives going on at strip clubs.

The choice is abundantly clear a leader who is led by morals and is a follower of Jesus, or the lack of moral foundations and core character of the past administration.

Character does Matter!

I guess the key issue here is she did not Murder, Sexually Molest or Assualt someone, break in to someones home and she isn't going door to door in your neighborhood.

Correct RS the article does not specificly say murders, but it does say drug dealers. I wonder how many drug dealers have not contributed to the (murder by drug abuse) death of a drug addict? So it may well be pretty safe to say that some in a way have been enablers to murder.

I don't know if you are a father or a husband but I as one would not want a sexual predator going do to do in my neighborhood. We have sexual offender registration laws for this sort of thing. Did those convicted assaultest and rapist register before canvasing the neighborhood? This may well be another felony a violation of their parole, a repeat offender.

What Jesus have them do if they were a past drug dealer I don't think he would provide them a job in a pharmacy, if they were a rapist I don't think they would benifit from working in a strip joint. Letting these convicted felons go door to door with out warning is like giving a hungry man unlimited credit in a supermarket or grocery store and telling them they can't get anything to eat. Should we send priest who have been convicted of molestation back to work with young people? It's just plain common sense.

By the way it Jesus not jebus, oh but I guess it is hard for you to see truth let alone speak the truth.

First of all I am not paranoid to you, I just think you like to stir the pot and like to argue. You are what we used to call a "bee's nest kicker". You are like a guy who lives in the Central Ohio area and wears Michigan clothing just to cause an arguement.

It does seem apparent to me that you have been hurt in some way deeply in the past and this is your way of striking out and keeping those who may offer help and healing from Jesus at a distance.I will continue to pray for you that you will rediscover the truth in your knowledge, because it is apparent that you read and have had exposure to the Gospel in the past.

I guess you have a kind of skewed world view but I know I was right about there being a lot of hurt there. Since when is offering to pray for someone such a bad thing? I know I would certainly apreciate it. I think that I make pretty decent cookies, sure something are things I come accross in my readings of various newspapers and sources each day, but when it is right and good there is no need to improve on it. Why change something that is working and right. You can't change the truth.

RS and DMcP--

I love you both. And this is why I think that you should never, ever talk to each other again.
