Asleep ,Thankfully not at the Wheel!

What a great picture and example of the Liberals disdain for America and our greatest President.

Great Links.

Wanted to share a couple of really great links with you.

There is a great archive over at the George W. Bush website of transcripts of a sampling of the great speeches by President Reagan. You can print them off and enjoy some great reading of the wonderfully speeches that "The Great Communicator" helped to create and delivered so eloquently.

Also you can here the audio for his speech on "God and America" here, audio link.

Sign the online petition to have President Reagan added to Mt. Rushmore as he should have been before his death. You can sign up on-line here.

This is a time of mourning no debating this week. And please no Anonymous (thanks Megan)posts, stand behind your idea's and thoughts.

More moving photo's as the nation mourns one of its finest.

The Flip Flopper, Really Flips

Here is a story of an incident over the Memorial Day Weekend of John Kerry "flipping the bird", to a man in front of a group of school children. Former Congressman John Leboutlillier witnessed and recounts the story:

Ted Sampley, a former Green Beret who served two full tours in Vietnam, spotted Kerry and his Secret Service detail at about 9:00 a.m. Monday morning at the Wall. Sampley walked up to Kerry, extended his hand and said, "Senator, I am Ted Sampley, the head of Vietnam Veterans Against John Kerry, and I am here to escort you away from the Wall because you do not belong here."

At that point a Secret Service officer told Sampley to back away from Kerry. Sampley moved about 6 feet away and opened his jacket to reveal a HANOI JOHN T-shirt.

Kerry then began talking to a group of schoolchildren. Sampley then showed the T-shirt to the children and said, "Kerry does not belong at the Wall because he betrayed the brave soldiers who fought in Vietnam."

Just then Kerry - in front of the school children, other visitors and Secret Service agents - brazenly 'flashed the bird' at Sampley and then yelled out to everyone, "Sampley is a felon!"

Kerry was referring to an incident 12 years ago when Sampley confronted Sen. John McCain's chief aide, Mark Salter, in a Senate stairwell after McCain repeatedly offended POW families at a Senate POW hearing. Sampley, whose father-in-law at that time was MIA in Laos, followed Salter into the stairwell and, when they emerged, Salter had a bloody lip and a broken nose.

Sampley's group, Vietnam Veterans Against John Kerry, has garnered huge national attention and has been featured in the New York Times, the Washington Post and on MSNBC's "Scarborough Country." Tens of thousands of Vietnam vets have registered their opposition to Kerry through Sampley's group.

Clearly Sampley has gotten under Kerry's skin once again.

Who can say, "Character does matter."

Rolling Thunder Rally continued...

Okay I couldn't pass up this one more photo from the Rolling Thunder Rally and a paragraph from the Washington Post article on the event.

Quote from the Washington Post (registration Required)

I went to the Rolling Thunder Memorial Day 2004 ride in DC Sunday. The group is made up of mostly Vietnam vets, and the ride is to raise awareness of the POW/MIA issue, as well as to honor vets. The group's leader's paid a visit to President Bush via Harley and presented him with a Rolling Thunder tee-shirt. This group has endorsed Bush over Kerry, a significant action given their membership.

Roll On Mr. President.

Another Veteran's Group endorses Bush

The Rolling Thunder Veteran's Group gave President Bush their endorsement for president this Memorial Day weekend after their massive rally at Washington's RFK Stadium. The President also addressed the veteran's group over the weekend. Here is a photo of the President receiving the approval of the groups President Artie Miller and his rider Nancy "These boots Are Made for Walking" Sinatra.
